UAE announces first mission to Mars

Dubai: The United Arab Emirates has announced that it will send its first mission to Mars.

According to a foreign news agency, the UAE will launch its first mission to Mars on July 15 from the Japanese island of Tengshima.

The date was announced on Monday by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MIH).

Last month, it was investigated despite travel bans caused by the epidemic Code-19 in Japan.

The mission will cover a distance of 495 million kilometers and reach the orbit of the Red Planet.

In September last year, the UAE sent its first astronaut, Hazara Mansoori.

It should be noted that this will be the first mission sent to Mars by an Arab country and if successful, it will take the UAE space industry to new heights.
